A Day At VinWonders Phu Quoc: Things To See And Do
European Streetmosphere
Step into the European atmosphere and be whisked away to the lively streets of medieval Europe. Get your camera at the ready and snap the best shots as you glide down the charming streets peppered with boutique stores and classic brick houses topped with pointed roofs.
The European Streetmosphere is the first “boulevard” you’ll encounter once the gate is open. Before you make your way out at the end of the day, don’t forget to linger and admire the ONCE Show that takes place every day at 6:30 PM.
The show allows you to immerse yourself in a dazzling performance that combines water dances, music, and breathtaking light displays!
Fantasy World
Dubbed kids’ favorite attraction at VinWonders, Fantasy World takes role-play to a whole new level when you can become your favorite character from stories and fairy tales.
One of the most visited sub-areas here is the Wild West. Get ready to explore the legendary American Wild West Town brimming with excitement. There’s a train to hop on for a wild ride to the deserted mines, uncover hidden secrets, or show off your sharpshooting skills in an interactive cowboy game.
Then comes the Ancient Valley, a challenging game that lets you take on a treasure hunt as you meander around the mysterious Temple of Isis. Sharpen your mind by solving the puzzles and taking on obstacles to reveal ancient secrets on this thrilling adventure.
The Mysterious Viking Village
Step into the shoes of a warrior in this Scandinavian-style village that feels like it’s straight out of northern Europe.
Wondering what’s there to do?
Well, engage in Thor’s Adventure and test your bravery as you cross a tricky bridge, zip line over a wild river, and unleash your inner Viking strength amidst a lush forest.
Other than that, check out the Viking River Rapids Ride for a thrilling voyage as you navigate treacherous waters on a warship’s voyage. At the end of the ride, the majestic Viking Village is waiting for your arrival.
Typhoon World
Let’s go under the sea! Set out to the underwater world where you can turn into Honolulu natives that rock the largest water park in Southeast Asia in your own way!
Plan ahead as nearly 40 games are waiting for you to discover!
The Sea Shell
Oh, I loved the Sea Shell
Little do you know that it’s the world’s fifth-largest aquarium!
Appearing as a giant turtle, this aquarium spans 15,000 square meters! Admiring it from above is beyond imagination!
Every day, they host special shows like the Mermaid Show and the Fish Feeding Show. You can catch these at specific times so make sure to double check on their website.
Once the shows are over, glide down the glass tunnels and get up close to all kinds of cool stuff whisking their happy tails on the other side of the glass walls. We’re talking about jellyfish, colorful fish, and many more!
Adventure World
Wanna go back in time or travel to another world?
Well, the Adventure World is about to blow your mind with ancient wonders and thrilling rides! The main theme at Adventure World is Mayan, an ancient city with whimsical structures before you enter the Greek temples surrounded by lush South American forests.
You have 11 exhilarating rides to choose from but the Wheel of Time totally caught my eye. If you get tired of all these screams and crazy rides, get on this towering Ferris wheel as I did and perch up to 120 meters high and capture stunning views from above – including the sea turtle aquarium at a distance.
The downside with the wheel is the temperature inside the box. The air-con is not always adjustable so sometimes it drops to freezing cold in there.
Those who come with kids should remember that some rides have a minimum height requirement of 120 centimeters, so plan accordingly if you’re bringing little ones along.
Final Words: Is VinWonders Phu Quoc Worth Visiting?
Heck yeah! Imagine Disneyland for a fraction of the cost!
VinWonders is a fairly new theme park so fewer crowds and shortened queue time are expected. However, you still need to plan a full day here and get there as early as possible. If you stay at one of the hotels in the north of Phu Quoc near VinWonders, it’s even better to cut down travel time.
If you’re all about big rides and water parks, then VinWonders is the top call. All the facilities are kept in good condition, sparkling clean and tasty food (especially ones at the Seahorse Tavern inside the Sea Shell aquarium).
