Finally, Piaoer got to play at JOYPOLIS!!! “Tokyo JOYPOLIS” is an indoor electronic theme park opened by SEGA, with over 20 large-scale amusement facilities, including thrilling roller coasters and brain-teasing puzzle games. Piaoer had visited a smaller JOYPOLIS in Osaka Umeda before, but only for sightseeing. She had always wanted to try the exciting rides and games. When she passed by “Tokyo JOYPOLIS” at Odaiba one-day trip and saw it at “Decks” Tokyo Beach, she really wanted to go in and play. Unfortunately, she was always alone. Of course, she needed someone to accompany her to enjoy this kind of amusement park. This time, Little V, who was also on the Tokyo free travel trip, came along, so they bought a Joypolis one-day pass and played all the facilities in JOYPOLIS in one day. It was super fun!
【Transportation】How to get to Joypolis Indoor Amusement Park?

Joypolis indoor amusement park is located inside the Decks shopping mall in Tokyo’s Odaiba area. The nearest station is the Yurikamome line’s “Odaiba Kaihin Koen” station. To get there from central Tokyo, take the subway to “Shinbashi Station” and transfer to the Yurikamome line to “Odaiba Kaihin Koen” station, then it’s just a 2-minute walk.
After entering DECKS Tokyo Beach, take the escalator directly to the 3rd floor, where JOYPOLIS is located from the 3rd to the 5th floor!
Tokyo Odaiba Joypolis Indoor Amusement Park Ticket
The Joypolis in Tokyo’s Odaiba is different from the Hep Five in Osaka’s Umeda, which can be visited for free. The Tokyo Joypolis charges an admission fee of 800 yen and cannot be visited for free.
Currently, there are over 20 large amusement facilities in Tokyo JOYPOLIS, including “roller coasters,” “music rhythm games,” and competitive “Initial D” racing games, as well as adventure shooting games like “Desert Island” (Initial D4 has been removed). The price for each game is around ¥300 to ¥800 when played individually, and there are also common tickets (Passport Ticket) that allow you to play all facilities, with prices listed in the ticket machine area.
However, due to long queues for many facilities, it is recommended to reserve half a day. For convenience, Piaor purchased the “Tokyo Joypolis Passport Admission & Rides included” entrance ticket with unlimited access to amusement facilities.
Buying from KKDAY is more than 300 TWD cheaper than buying tickets on-site in Japan, so of course you should buy online!Joypolis Indoor Amusement Park Tickets
The tickets purchased on KKday need to be exchanged for physical tickets at the ticket counter on the day of the visit. However, there is no need to worry about language barriers when buying tickets on site. After obtaining the physical tickets, visitors can simply scan the QR code to enter the amusement park or use any facility on the same day.
Tokyo Odaiba Joypolis Indoor Amusement Park Play Guide
Having visited Joypolis many times, I have long known that this amusement park is not just an indoor park, but also offers plenty of excitement. It is especially suitable for people like me who have a fear of heights and cannot ride roller coasters, but still enjoy thrills.
If you don’t know what to play, there are tour guides in multiple languages at the entrance that you can take a look at first, and head straight to the ones that interest you.
This music rhythm game is quite integrated with Japanese culture. Two people form a team, and four teams compete together to earn points. The game involves standing and swaying back and forth while rotating, making it extremely challenging! You have to overcome your fear of heights while keeping up with the rhythm.
Another fun thing is the weapons in the movie Transformers. They rotate 720 degrees inside, just like becoming a Transformer to fight against enemies. This is what I think is the most fun, but people who get carsick easily may feel a little dizzy. Otherwise, the excitement and enjoyment won’t be very high.
If you like this kind of thrilling facility, we recommend the world’s largest indoor theme park to you: 【Dubai Fun】IMG Adventure World: Marvel Hero World, Cartoon Channel and other themed facilities
There are also various claw machines that little girls love.
The instant camera that Japanese female students love is an essential device in game centers.
Pirate’s Plunder.
STORM-G. STAR WARS Stormtrooper game console is also a must-play, but the queue is also the longest, almost an hour!
Sonic the Hedgehog Zone
Sonic Kid’s Game Console.
There are also attractions such as Death Haunted House 4, Wild Wing, BIOHAZARD ~ Evil Mansion ~, and Yokai Mansion ~ Edo Hundred Ghost Night Parade Strange Tale ~, etc.

JOYPOLIS in Odaiba is a paradise for young people to have fun. The indoor amusement park combines elements of Japanese anime and American movies, making it an advanced version of indoor game machines. It is suitable for students from elementary school to university or under 30 years old. My friends, Piaor and Xiao V, had a great time playing there. However, it may not be suitable for young children. It is recommended to only buy tickets for them to play in the Sonic the Hedgehog area. The excitement level is of course not as high as the Flying Dragon ride in Universal Studios Osaka, but for those who like thrilling effects but find the Flying Dragon ride too intense, there are many game facilities here that use 3D audio and visual effects that are worth trying!
