Ordering Method at Luke’s Lobster Omotesando Store

It was almost 20 minutes past dusk, and the menu offered choices such as lobster, crab meat, and shrimp sandwiches. As the menu continued to evolve, there was also the option of Half & Half, where you could enjoy two different sandwiches in one, and even the LUKE’S TRIO, which allowed you to enjoy three different ingredients at once. However, the signature dish here is the lobster, so of course, Flutter ordered the lobster sandwich!

At Luke’s Lobster, the meal portions are divided into regular size “REGULAR (980 yen)” or double size “加量US (1580 yen)”. You can also add a drink and fries for an additional 400 yen. When I visited for the second time, they also had soup available to order. You can refer to the official menu for all possible combinations.

▼ Just like the fast food ordering windows commonly seen in the United States, Luke’s Lobster only has one window and an outdoor dining area. Orders are placed at the left window and the food is picked up at the right window when the number is called (in English for foreigners).

Winter in Tokyo is really cold when you’re outside in the wind. Plus, outdoor dining is already full of people, and after a whole day of shopping with big and small bags, I told the staff when ordering that I wanted takeout and they would pack it in a box. I ate it in the heated room at home.

This time I ordered the REGULAR SIZE, which actually looks slightly smaller than the 7-11 Big Boss Burger in Taiwan, but the amount of lobster is really generous!!!

I heard that lobsters are originally served cold, and only the bread is freshly baked and hot. However, when taking it to go, it cools down. Luckily, my accommodation this time has a microwave in the room, so I quickly heated it up!

Unexpectedly, the heated lobster sandwich tasted exactly the same as the one shared by netizens. The bread was still crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and every bite was filled with fresh, juicy lobster meat. In my opinion, the most impressive thing about Luke’s Lobster is their use of herb seasoning, which perfectly complements the bread and lobster. It’s PERFECT!

▼ The lobster meat is so tender and flavorful! I give it 100 points!

Although a 980 yen lobster sandwich may seem expensive, considering the satisfying amount of lobster and the high-quality sauce and bread, the price is actually quite reasonable!

During the second visit, Piao Er wanted to try the cold version and found that it was just as ordinary as the reviews from netizens… I also had a cup of thick soup, which was very rich in flavor and had a lot of ingredients, just like the thick soup you would have in the United States.

I have had Luke’s Lobster’s lobster rolls five times in Taiwan and Japan because I love them so much! However, when I went on a trip to the United States, I didn’t have the chance to eat them specifically. I could only compare the taste between Taiwan and Japan. Since their seafood is all flash-frozen and shipped directly from the US and Canada to their worldwide locations, there is no difference in the lobster between Taiwan and Japan. However, the bread in Japan is a bit crispier, but the difference is not significant. For me, the truly delicious part is when I microwave the whole thing and it’s all hot and tasty.
