Siam Paragon is not just a shopping hub, it’s a stylish pastime. Whenever it rains in Bangkok, there’s no better shelter than a stellar shopping mall. Right here in the capital city, Siam Paragon is one of the most sought-after malls, housing everything you need for a fun-filled day in a lavish world indoors.
Other than high-end fashion, there’s even an Ocean World to delight your kids, a gourmet dining area to stock up with good eats, and lots of shopping opportunities to max out your credit card. Read on to find out what is there to do at Siam Paragon on each floor, the best eats, and how to get there.
How to Get to Siam Paragon?
Take the BTS Skytrain Sukhumvit and Silom Lines to Siam Station. The metro ride will take you straight to the second floor of the mall, get out and start exploring.
What to Do at How to Get to Siam Paragon? A Lowdown Into Every Floor
Here’s a breakdown of what’s offered on every floor:
- BF: Siam Ocean World
- GF: Gourmet dining
- M Floor: High Fashion, TWG afternoon tea, and other global brand names
- 1st Floor: Fast fashion
- 2nd Floor: Living and technology
- 3rd Floor: Fast food chains, coffee, and desserts
- 4th Floor: international cuisine
- 5th Floor and 6th Floor: I-MAX Cinema, KTV, Bowling Center
Without further ado, here’s a further look into my experience and more photos I got along the way to give you a heads-up.
BF: Sea Life Bangkok Ocean
Dubbed the largest aquarium in Southeast Asia, Sea Life Bangkok Ocean covers 10,000 square meters with hundreds of different species on display. The record has it that the aquarium hosts over 30,000 animals of 400 marine species. There’s also 4D cinema and boat ride activities, making it a great hideout if you tag your kids along.
Even though the hefty entrance fee holds some people back in doubt, it’s definitely worth it as the fee is used to ensure that all sea creatures receive such good care. But if you purchase the ticket online as I did, you’ll find a steep discount that saves you a bit more.
GF: Gourmet Dining
Four Seasons
Classic Chinese cuisine served with a modern flare, Four Seasons has some of the best-roasted ducks for a filling lunch with the fam!
The Mandarin Oriental Shop
This is one of my favorite stops to fill up with some scrumptious pastries and baked goods.
Coffee Beans By Dao
Opened by an ex-beauty queen, Coffee Beans By Dao is a home sweet home for high-ranking figures and celebrities of the country seeking delightful fusion Thai cuisine in a gorgeous yet cozy ambiance.
Kyo Roll En
The menu at Kyo Roll En, a famous dessert cafe, was inspired by the ancient city of Kyoto Japan. Carefully crafted dessert recipes and drinks are totally insta-worthy.
Kloset Café
A popular Thai food restaurant dishing up creamy crispy duck curry. You will find yourself licking up the plate until the last drop.
Exotique Thai
Exotique Thai offers some of the best Thai handcrafted souvenirs and colognes. Some of the items are priced a lot higher than market price but in return, the sophisticated artworks brought to you by the great Thai designers are rare finds.
M Floor: High-End Fashion and TWG Tea
From Hermes, Prada, and Louis Vuitton, to Versace, YSL, and Chanel, you don’t have to travel further afield to find a well-crafted handbag or a classic gown. Even TWG, one of the finest high-quality tea brands in the world with nearly 400 varieties of tea gathered on the same floor.
1F: Fast Fashion Clothing
This floor plays host to those brands on the lower end of the price spectrum with the world’s famous fast-fashion heavyweights such as Paul Smith, Hugo Boss, Armani, H&M, Gap, Zara, Coach, Footwork, and D’Mond. They often offer a steep discount at the end of the year up to 50%.
For those who have a Nespresso coffee maker at home, why not stop by this classic Nespresso tasting area on the same floor and snag some capsules home?
6F: Madame Tussauds Museum Bangkok
At the moment, they only offer combo tickets including a visit to Madame Tussauds and Sea Life Bangkok Ocean at once. If you’re looking for some photo ops with well-sculpted world-renowned figures, don’t miss out on this one.
